I want to share a couple of the songs that have been complete brainworms recently. Because I’m Tate I’ll also say a sentence about them talking about how much I like them or why I might resonate with them.
Songs: Crack Rock – Frank Ocean Be Sweet – Japanese Breakfast Woods – Mac Miller
Crack Rock – Frank Ocean is such a beautiful song. I absolutely love the part where he sings “My brother get popped…don’t no one hear the sound…ooooh”
Be Sweet – Japanese Breakfast, I have never fallen more head over heels for a pop song than with Be Sweet. I really can’t say enough how refreshing this song is to listen to, and how it makes you feel like everything’s gonna be not just alright, but sweet.
Woods – Mac Miller what is there even to say? Mac has become one of my closest most intimate friends, and I’ve only ever heard him posthumously. It is absolutely wild how close all of Mac’s songs hit, and this one combines a very smooth but lyrically dense Mac classic flow with a droning hypnotizing beat.
